Frequently asked questions

Is ADHD coaching right for me?

If you're an ADHD/AuDHDer who is looking for gentle, supportive coaching to help you better understand yourself and find a more easeful way to navigate your career and life, coaching could be a great fit. Book a call or send me an email to talk through the best options for you and if it's not the right fit, I'll be happy to recommend alternatives for you.

What do the sessions look like?

Find Your Joy one off sessions

When you book, you'll have the opportunity to share more about what you'd like to talk about in our call. We'll meet online for our 90 minute session where we'll talk through your focus and help you gain clarity to move forward. After the session, you'll receive a personalised plan plus up to two follow up emails to help with accountability. We can also factor in a 10 minute break during this session if 90 minutes is too long in one go.

1:1 coaching sessions

We'll start by checking in on any wins or noticings from the previous session and how you're feeling this week. We'll then decide together what you'd like to focus on and where you'd like to start. I'll ask questions designed to gently challenge you to explore your chosen topic. With your consent, I'll share any relevant tools or strategies to support you. We'll end the session by confirming any experiments that you'd like to explore going forward and check in on how you're feeling.

When are sessions available?

I offer flexible sessions on throughout the week including evenings and Saturday mornings. If you're booking a package, we'll work together to find the right time for you. If you're booking a single session or using the book as you go option, you'll be sent a link with available options and you can book any available session.

Is coaching like therapy?

No, they are different. Therapy is usually focused on the past, exploring your experiences and understanding of their impact on you. Coaching is more forward facing, helping to identify goals and strategies that work for you.

Do I need a diagnosis to have coaching?

Not at all. Diagnosed, self discovered or just exploring are all welcome here.

As a coach, I can't diagnose you, but I am happy to share resources with you if you are looking into diagnosis.

Do you accept Access to Work clients?

Absolutely! Let me know what you have been awarded and I'll do my best to work with you to match it.

Do you offer accessible options?

I always want to make my practice as accessible as possible. Camera off calls, transcription, captions and more are all available. If online video coaching isn't right for you, I'm also open to alternative options such as telephone or email coaching.

What is the process to book coaching with you?

We start by chatting over email or with an introductory call which you can book here. When you're happy to go ahead, we'll agree a start date, time and the right package for you. I'll send you our coaching agreement and a short onboarding form. If you've booked a package of sessions, I'll send payment links followed by the links for our sessions. If you prefer to book and pay as you go, you can book this directly using a special link whenever you'd like a session.
